Is it September yet?  For the archery elk hunter, this is the question they ask all year.  Just the thought of September drives them to spend countless hours at the gym and range and to fight through regular bouts with elk fever.  There is always something new to learn, another mountain to climb, and story to tell.  We can’t wait to hear your September story whether it was filled with success or heartache.  

This questionnaire will help our judges select this years finalists for the Sweet September league.  To be nominated as a finalist you had to finish in the top 50% on the Leaderboard, remain active on the Community page, and log a number of hunts/scouts that capture the story of your season.  The HuntLeague Leaderboard is in the midst of several changes right now and will always be somewhat of an imperfect system.  The Leaderboard is not the deciding factor.  Our panel of judges want to hear your story before they ultimately crown the Sweet September League Champion.  After reviewing applications the judges will select 2 or 3 finalists for a live interview before they vote on this years champion.

Answers should be anything from a few sentences to a couple paragraphs.  (This is not a writing competition!)  Our panel of judges may have a few additional questions and may reach out to you independently as we narrow the selection to the top finalists.  HuntLeague will announce the finalists on October 20th.  Between October 20th and November 3rd we will attempt to schedule and record a live interview with each finalist.  HuntLeague will then host a live virtual event open to the entire HuntLeague community, friends, and family where the Sweet September League Champion will be announced.
